Parents,
I'm sending this email to get you up to speed on the team's website and what information you'll be able to find there this season.

Announcements:

All emails sent out will also post on the website under the "Announcements" tab. This way you'll be able to go back easily find an email that was sent to the team. If you have an announcement you'd like to post, send an email to: clint0009.badnewsbears@blogger.com and it will auto post.

Calendar:

Practices, league games and tournament games will be posted on the calendar on a regular basis. For example when a league game gets rained out, a soon as I am notified of the makeup game's date, I'll add it to the calendar.

Links:

Over time I'll be adding links to tournament venues, ballparks, hotels and any other links that will be useful to you throughout the season.

Team/Player Stats:

For those who are new to the team, every game will be scored in real-time and posted on our website pitch-by-pitch. During a game some parents keep up with the score, batting order, outs and so forth on their phone. The direct link to this is http://games.bearsball.com. Add this link to your phone, then you'll be able to easily access during the game.

You'll be able to see your son's hit locations in addition to their statistics. If at any time you'd like to get this info in a spreadsheet so you can archive it on your computer, send me an email request.

Once the season gets rolling, pics will get added to the site.
